Promyelocytic leukemia protein (PML) is a transcription factor involved in transcriptional regulation and nuclear protein sequestration, such as recruiting ELF4 into PML nuclear bodies. A chromosomal aberration involving PML is a cause of acute promyelocytic leukemia.The synthetic peptide used to raise the antibody Cat. No. 200184 is selected from a sequence within the N-term region of human PML. For blocking experiments, a 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended.
