RecQ protein-like 4 (RecQ4) is a DNA-dependent ATPase that modulates chromosome segregation. Defects in RecQ4 are the cause of Rothmund-Thomson, Rapadilino, and Baller-Gerold syndromes, dermatological, aplasia and cranial disorders respectively.The synthetic peptide used to raise the antibody Cat. No. 200164 is selected from a sequence within the N-term region of human RecQL4. For blocking experiments, a 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended.
