The secretin receptor (SCTR) is a multi-pass membrane protein acting as a receptor for secretin. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins which activate adenylyl cylase. SCTR belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 2 family.The synthetic peptide used to raise the antibody Cat. No. 250854 is selected from a sequence within the N-term region of human secretin receptor. For blocking experiments, a 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended.
